Transportation: 
  • Closest Airport: Memphis International (MEM). Shuttles will transport from MEM to destination.
  • Self driving? Meet in-market where shuttles will be provided for all itinerary stops.

ITINERARY (subject to change)

DAY 1 | FRIDAY, AUGUST 15
  • 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Arrive & check in at Blue Bank Resort
    Relax lakeside at this family-owned resort on Reelfoot Lake. Known for its rustic charm, scenic views, and exceptional hospitality, Blue Bank offers a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.
  • 2:00 p.m. Old Samburg Gun Club
    Experience a sportsman's paradise at the Old Samburg Gun Club. The facility features an archery course, rifle range, sporting clay course, and Duck Flush set up. Enjoy a complimentary round on the sporting clay course while visiting!
  • 4:00 p.m. Birds of Prey & Sunset Cruise on Reelfoot Lake
    Reelfoot Lake is home to over 90 bald eagle nests. Visit Reelfoot Lake State Park museum and birds of prey exhibits, then enjoy a sunset pontoon cruise featuring the scenic sunken cypress and unique wildlife of the lake.
  • 6:30 p.m. Lakeside Dinner & Drinks at Blue Bank Resort
    Experience the traditional Reelfoot Lake meal: a Catfish Plate with all the fixins, or choose from one of their specialty salads, burgers, local-raised beef, or seafood options. Blue Bank has a full-service bar, with a local brew on tap.

DAY 2 | SATURDAY, AUGUST 16
  • 8:00 a.m. Check out at Blue Bank Resort
  • 8:30 a.m. Breakfast at Vantage Coffee Roasters
    Step into the heart of small-batch specialty coffee at Vantage Coffee Roasters in Downtown Union City. This modern, mission-driven roastery is dedicated to ethically sourced beans and precision roasting techniques. A local favorite!
  • 9:00 a.m. Discovery Park of America
    Discovery Park of America is a state-of-the-art 100,000-square-foot museum sitting on a beautifully landscaped 50-acre heritage park. Explore exhibits unique to the wildlife, history, and culture of Reelfoot Lake and the Mississippi River Region. Enjoy exclusive early morning access to the park, and admission into "Real Bodies: The Exhibition."
  • 12:00 p.m. Lunch at Bizinka Bakery & Deli
    This local deli and bakery combo features a variety of craft sandwiches and desserts, including a taste of the owner's Ukrainian heritage - honey cake, macarons, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and more!
  •  1:00 p.m.  Shopping in Downtown Union City
    Explore the charm of historic downtown Union City. Visit local boutiques, specialty retailers, and Reelfoot Brewing Company.
  • 2:00 p.m. White Squirrel Winery
    Enjoy a scenic stop at this family-owned vineyard in Kenton, the largest grape producer in Tennessee. Sample locally grown blends, including muscadine and other fruit wines, and learn about the local white squirrels that inspired the winery's unique name.
  • 4:00 p.m. Final Flight Outfitters
    Discover one of the nation’s top waterfowl and outdoor retailers. This family-owned destination features a massive showroom, expert gear, and a deep connection to hunting culture and conservation. A must-see for outdoor enthusiasts.
  • 5:00 p.m. Dinner at Blake's at Southern Milling
    Dine in a beautifully restored 1918 feed mill in downtown Martin, where Texas-style smoked brisket, ribs, and Southern sides meet Tennessee hospitality. Blake’s offers a warm, rustic atmosphere and a menu that celebrates bold flavors and local charm.
  • 6:30 p.m. Depart to Paris, TN
  • 7:30 p.m. Check in at the Lodge at Paris Landing

DAY 3 | SUNDAY, AUGUST 17
  • 8:00 a.m. Breakfast at the Lodge at Paris Landing
  • 9:00 a.m. Visit Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge
    With over 51,000 acres of protected habitat along Kentucky Lake, the refuge is ideal for birding and photography. Visit the state-of-the-art visitor center in Springville for interactive exhibits and panoramic lake views. 
  • 11:00 a.m. Pontoon Tour of Kentucky Lake & Cruise in Lunch at The Breakers Marina
    Enjoy a pontoon cruise on Kentucky Lake, taking in the scenic beauty and tranquil waters. Dock at The Breakers Marina in Buchanan for a casual lakeside lunch featuring classic the local take on a "Cheeseburger in Paradise."
  • 2:00 p.m. Option 1: Golf at Paris Landing State Park
    Tee off on this scenic 18-hole, par-72 course nestled along the western shore of Kentucky Lake. With tree-lined fairways, rolling hills, and standout holes like the picturesque downhill par-3 fourth, it’s a rewarding round for golfers of all levels. (The park has 4 sets of rental clubs available.) 
  • 2:00 p.m. Option 2: Guided hike at Paris Landing State Park
    The birds of prey program at Paris Landing State Park in Tennessee involves educational programs and feeding sessions for birds of prey like hawks and owls. It allows visitors to learn about these powerful hunters and their role in the ecosystem. The park also operates a raptor rehabilitation program, where injured or orphaned birds are cared for and often released back into the wild.  
  • 6:30 p.m. Dinner at Blue's Landing
    Savor authentic Cajun and Southern flavors at Blues Landing. Known for dishes like gumbo, shrimp po' boys, and fried catfish, this lively spot offers a relaxed atmosphere with live music. It's a flavorful finale to your day at the lake.

DAY 4 | MONDAY, AUGUST 18
  • 8:00 a.m. Breakfast at the Lodge at Paris Landing & Check Out
  • 9:30 a.m. Visit the Eiffel Tower & Downtown Paris
    Snap a photo with our 70-foot Eiffel Tower replica in Paris! Then, explore the charming boutiques and specialty shops around the historic court square.
  • 11:00 a.m. Lunch in Downtown Paris
  • 12:00 p.m. Depart for Chattanooga (roughly 4-hour drive)
  • 5:30 p.m. Arrive in Chattanooga (account for time change to ET)
