About me
Kate Morgan is a freelance journalist whose work on science and nature has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic, Vox, Popular Science, and numerous other publications. She has been included in several anthologies, including two editions of The Craft of Science Writing. Her work is focused on untold, overlooked, and surprising narratives, and often combines stringent science with moving human stories. Morgan was a recipient of the Nova Institute for Health Media Fellowship in the program's inaugural year. She lives in rural Pennsylvania, and tends one large garden and two very small children.
